Grrr. I haven't been as diligent as I could be with this blog.  It's not that I have been avoiding the camera completely, not at all. I am now taking classes and have been focusing/fretting about my school work. To date, I have been interested in natural light photography. I have always put my camera away in the evening unless I was doing artsy fartsy shots.

Not anymore.....

I broke down and bought the Nikon SB700, which led to an additional purchase of a transmitter/receiver set to complete my homework this week. I have been driving my self CRAZY this week. It is difficult to learn one new thing, but two new things have put me into a tizzy.

I am currently learning to use the flash on camera and off camera.

Thanks to the random guy at the hotel who told us to keep pushing down the coast.....that it was worth it. Thank goodness he did otherwise we would not have seen this beautiful waterfall.

Yelled at my husband to turn the car around.....I wanted to see this pull off.  Both sides of this are farm fields and cow pastures. I'd be a happy cow in California too if this was my view everyday.  AMAZING!
